Right now I ride a Cannondale Chase and love it but everyone I have talked to is saying BMX bikes are way better to ride DJ's and street. So my plan is to get a bigger fork for my Chase to make it better for freeride. I need to get a BMX now but dont know much about them. I can either get a Haro Nyquist Pro, almost new for $350 or I can get a Giant Rhythm or Modem for less then $200 new. I know the Haro is super nice but I dont know much about the Giant bikes...Can Anyone help me??
You might want to look into the dk 6pack its generally considered a good beginner bike for the price. Here's a couple threads that go through the best of the beginner/cheaper bikes.
^i hope u mean 26lbs, but he was looking for a solid street/dirt bike. A race bike wouldn`t cut it too well unless ure all u do is manuel around and can flow through trails like nothing. Out of ure three options the nyquist is the better one, but like someone else said look into DK, they have solid beginner bikes that are easy to upgrade if the time comes.
Well I decided on the Haro, I decided that a 2006 Nyquist Pro that has only been ridden two or three times was well worth the $350 The msrp on that bike is $770...that means i'm saving $420, so far it seem like a nice bike I just need to wait for it to warm up so the dj's dry soon, thanks for all the input
