20 inch barrel is waaaay too much

Anything over 14 inches doesnt have any better accuracy.



I have a piranha gun with a few upgrades on it

actually 16 inches is the maximum acuracy length.

i had a bushmaster with a 16' all american, and a drop down for the nitro tank.

but yea 16' is way too unwieldy for anything but a back covering position.

on the other hand, it had a tight as hell pattern and would light the other team right up at the whistle.

i sold my bushmaster for my pimped out tippman, drop forward, 7 stage regulator, custom wood grips, quick strip parts, boomstick/JJ ceramic 3 20oz tanks view loader revolution hopper responce dubble trigger and probably more stuff, i havent played in a year so im trying to sell it if anyone is interested

I have seen 18" barrels and I have also seen pictures of people making custom barrels around 20". The problem with that is after 16" the ball actually contacts the barrel enough to make the ball roll and drop once it leaves the muzzel.

yup. the bore of the barrel (in most barrels) is the size of the ball (when your paint matches the barrel that is) for about the first 8 inches, then the bore widens. thats why the freak only has inserts about 6 inches...


anywyas, i have an 03 shocker with a ndz trigger and bolt, along with a few other ups. i like it, really light. i have a crossfire tank too...
