i got canned for drinking last night for the first time. So after no discussion with the rents i go to bed, and get up in the morning and head to my buddies for the day today without talking with the folks. I ask for a ride to the movies on the phone as the night approachs from my mom and she says ok but come home first me and your father have to have a chat with you. So im like agh crap im gunan get pwnd. So i walk home, they sit me down at the table, and say
"Jake, (with a serious face) were buying a condo on hill at Sunpeaks!"
I was in so much shock it was unbeliveable. I think im getting canned hard, and then told there buying a condo on the second largest resort in BC. PRAISE the lord.
So what have you experienced that was shocking? good or bad

Mine was when I found out my girlfriend of two years was a pre-op tranny. Why was this good? It taught me not to trust any girl under 13.

Mine is kinda same deal, got busted by parents and two uncles at same time, they pulled out my huge nugs container in the grand Canyon, I was shitting, then my uncle was like "I got greens" and then everyone mooched my good green for the next three weeks.

i live east coast. And im not rich. My parents see it as an investment for 10 years down teh road when they sell it or what ever. In the mean time i still gotta coff up cash flow for plane tickets, and for food and lift tickets while im there if i go with buddies. and to the guy who said watch if its your punishment and they were joking, haha if that actually happened i might have to kill myself.

Hahaha dude, an on hill condo is a pretty expensive investment to make in the first place. My parents invest in just land and they're considered well off. Trust us, your parents are rich.

to start off, we all ski, its not the poorest of sports. also, buying an on mountain house is an investment, if you rent it out everywinter and use it yourself for 1 week a winter or summer, you will gradually pay off the price of the house, and taxes, and even gain money for yourself.

i bet its a test they want u to admit that what u did was wrong and so on. and if u dont do it they will just not buy the condo

i feel your excitment, im so pumped even tho i shouldnt be. sun peaks is fun, not very hard but it looks like theres sweet "inbound backcountry" and the park is better than most mtns just not too many rails i thought.

Your on east coast also? How often do you see yourself using it though?
Because its not like you'll fly a private jet there every weekend...
Pretty cool that you have that though.
