so im trying to lose like 10 pounds for summer and vacationa dall that goos stuff, anyone know a good diet thats easy tht goes ith working out to lose weight?
Agree man, honeslty be happy and 10pounds is nothing, you won't even notice it. Some people just can't lose weight. Run everyday or workout or do somthing and you will be healthier. Might not lose anything but you'll feel better
i dont believe in diets. im underwieght for my age but i eat like normal and im not anorexic or belemic and i dont have any eat disorders. i just have really high metabolism
whats the point of dieting for the summer if in the sumnmer you will loose weight anyways cause you're doing stuff all of the time. seriously dont worry about it too much cause you ski already so you must not be fat
i'm with anyone who said that the diet one of the stupidest concepts ever conceived and only believed by stupid people. You wanna lose weight? How about you take on a healthy lifestyle that you can live with? Walk to school or work, or for an hour in the evening, do some yoga in the morning, cut the cheese burgers and make a stirfry. Cut the meat down to a couple days a week. It's so easy. Diets are just a yoyo thing. Yah, you cut the carbs out (something your body needs) for a bunch of months, lose the weight and then start on the carbs again and gain it all back in half the time you took to lose it.
Hell if you can, eat 6 small meals a day....eating constantly and never being hungry increases you metabolism. Get more sleep...go to bed early and get up early, it's good for the soul and helps your metabolism as well.
bottomline: Diets are stupid because they aren't something you plan to do for the rest of your life, and therefore you'll just gain the weight back after you re-adopt the unhealthy lifestyle.
I'm not trying to lose weight at all and I've lost 10 pounds over the past 2 weeks just by ACTUALLY DOING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. Just run yourself into the ground day after day, then not only will you lose weight, you'll be in better shape. Now I just need to try to get my weight back!
me too... i eat a TON... diets are really for the really fat.. or the middle aged... not for high school girls... honestly, enjoy eating what you want while you can :)wait until you're 40 to diet
wtf, ur not fat judging by ur pics. simple rules: eat healthy, stop when you are not hungry anymore and exercise...extreme sport gets you pumpin, so do mtn biking. I eat like a pig, exercise like shwarztneger and look like jesus.
I hear it works wonders, but it will mess with your ski budget for next season.
Seriously, you're a good looking young girl whom needs no dieting. Remember that this is the time in your life where your body is changing and growing rapidly. You don't want to screw up your long term health for short term happiness with your figure. Exercise (Any good trainer will NOT recommend intense weightlifting at your age) every day and eat balanced meals. Your growing body NEEDS those nutrients. anywho i say you just eat mass amounts of pie like said above gain some weight and then once you reached the point of obesity just flap your arms like a dying walrus and sweat it off
hahaha my friend and i are on a diet, well its not really a diet. she is doing what works for me- cutting out food hahaha. if i cut down on my food i lose weight so fast its awesome. we are going for the "herion chic" look, if you steal my LOOK i will find you and kill you, its ours!!! hahaha.
and i don't think you need to lose weight, you are young and your parents still buy your food!!!!! eat up while you can ha, food is expensive and a pain to make yourself haha. also its un healthy when you are young to be skinny, it will screw you over later in life i promise.

To the creator of this thread, you are young, and can't afford to lose 10 lbs. Just eat healthy and work out. You'll tone up, look thinner, but probably actually gain weight. My girlfriend started working out 3 months ago, she looks way more tone but actually gained 5 lbs in muscle.
you mst be kidding. yor skinny as a rail. literally. go excercise and stop taking picts of your skinny lil bod trying to get attention by saying your fat.
yea your pretty much an idiot. yo-yo dieting is the BEST way to GAIN weight. once you stop this "cutting down the food" your metabolism will have slowed down tremendously and you will begin to gain weight much faster as your body will take longer to break down everything you eat. have fun gaining and losing 30 pounds a month.
just dont eat crap, eat good healthy food, an dont stuff your face, eat smaller meals. eat ur biggest meals early in the day so u dont eat a big dinner and go sleep it off, eat big, burn it off then eat a little meal at night. do situps and crunches, run, sweating a lot is good for weight loss, and do it the healthier way, dont go bye some bs diet that tells u to neat eat half the stuff u get nutrition from.
I swear, my work out routine is lax. I do some sit ups and bounce around on a trampoline which is more amusing than anything else. Swimming's pretty much the best thing I do.
Walking, swimming and running are toning and keep you healthy. If you lose weight with a diet, the weight won't stay off.
try the no eating diet. it works for all the celebs.
i on the other hand am on the 'i eat anything i want' diet. it works wonders for those fatty love handles of mine. plus it keeps my badonkadonk lookin badonkable
i dont change how i eat over the summer. at least in a dieting stadpoint, i am like 85% vegetarian usually and it becomes more like 70% vegetarian over the summer just because i am at home more and the rest of my family eats alot of meat.
exactly...the American way to lose weight is just go on a "diet" trust me excercising is 10x more fun and 10x more effective. Unless you want to eat salad every meal and only lose a pound or two.
it is horrible for you... there are three types of molecules your body is made of, and uses for energy, carbohydrates, proteins and fats. your body first metabolizes carbs for energy, then proteins, then fats. so by not eating you will actually lose muscle untill your body can no longer afford to lose any more before it begins to take away fat. so yes you lose weight, but it just makes you a weak person with a layer of fat, as opposed to a strong person with no fat which is idealy what you want.

i'm not sure that works, i studied bio all weekend and i'm pretty sure you metabolise fats before proteins. also the body doesnt even store proteins, you break them into amino acids. i might be wrong tho,
