Sick of the goverment always beating up the little guy

today i was takeing Northwest airlines to fly to florida on faily vaction. we got to the airport and checked in, and got to are gate only to find out they are overbooked. finally after aguring with the ticket agent (who was a total bitch] she was able to rebook us a differnt day ruining a couple days of are vaction, and northwest were total douchbags about it. this is not the first time this happend. its now becoming a very common trend. i told my mom "its funny for a copmany that is bankrupt, why do the treat their costomers like totaly shit." I also said "its stupid how when a honest harding working person goes bankrupt the goverment is all over their ass, when a big corporation goes bankrupt the goverment helps them." i know the lost of jobs would be bad but still.

what im trying to say is why should the goverment help them out. They went bankrupt why should the get special treatment. i no there are some average people out that dont deserve to get help but some do. why should some corperation that treats people like shit get help.

well, every business gets help if they file for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Thats the whole point, to restructure your company so it can survive with out having to go out of business. And the only reason the governmemnt steps in on companies like northwest airlines is to make sure there won't be a monopoly in the airline business. So the government is actually trying to help us out(which may be hard to believe for some of you). Northwest does sound like they fucked you over though, you should have at least got some cool free stuff, like a free nights stay.

Think about that statement for a minute. Why would you want to help the airline industry... Okay well lets start with the fact that their continued service is imperative to the funcioning of our country. Yes its true that if the mom and pop dohnut shop goes out of business the government isnt going to bend over backwards to help them. Why you ask? Because our fat ass country doesnt NEED more dohnut shops to keep functioning. Our fat ass country does need a way to keep the economy in motion, and airlines provide that critical service.
So im really sorry about your flight, i know that is a serious inconvenience and it is completely unacceptable. People should be treated with more respect for the money they pay to fly somewhere. Consequently all first class airlines are comming into existance for people that are tired of being treated like shit. Take up your greivences with the airline in question, you deserve better, but please stowe your contempt toward the govenment before you really consider the implications of your statements.
