how can i block a programs access to the internet, without disconecting my computer? i think it can be done with firewall but i don't know how

on my computer when something tries to access the internet that isnt recognized a little whing pops up and asks if i want to grant it access. i think that's the firewall though

yeah, i think the first time i ran the program firewall asked wether or not to unblock it and i unblocked it. so how do i re-block it

you can block a programs access to the internet through your anitbirys as well. Why do you want to do this?

i downloaded a game that every time i run it while its connected to the internet it askes for my cd key. i type the key in and it tells me its in use. when i type it in while the internet connection is off it works
