the 'Infium Labs Phantom'. supposedly they say it can run games from all 3 systems. phisically it is possible to cram 3 different laseres in to one systam. I am not saying that it would be under $400 mind you. the issue it that they will probably get sued 5 times over by the big 3 (microsoft, nintendo, and ps2).

xbox uses dual compression dvd discs, and gamecube uses small dvd discs, so it would really hard to develop a system like that.

The Phantom is supposed to be a completely different game system, not something that will play games from all 3 systems, as thats not possible. The PS2 and Xbox read off of DVD's and CDs while Gamecube reads off of miniDVD's which spin backwards. Its not possible...

It was posted on Slashdot awhile back (The Phantom), and its supposed to be a new console with downloadable games or something.

I think game informer is good. they have it all, thare for they arn't biesed twards any one system. IE-if spyhunter 5 is better on xbox than that will get the highest rating.
