Replying to Pronated Ankles
And how they have ruined my skiing
If you don't know what pronated ankles are, look it up because i don't want to explain. Basically your ankles are 'offset', and are not over your foot, but leaning in on your foot. (trying to tone it down) Basically it makes your legs want to lean together. I ruin shoes, pants and ski boots because of the rubbing together my feet and legs do that i don't notice. But carried into skiing, the minute i relax my boots touch and i go all wanker style. I look like i'm skiing straight out of the 60's. I'm working on this problem though, it will fix my balance and my tendency to stand like a pencil.
So i wonder. Does anyone else have this 'disability' as i call it? How did u overcome it?
