Syracuse is about 45 minutes from labrador mtn, nothing special but it will give you your park fix. Killington is about a 4 1/2 hour drive and so is White face. The urban on campus is pretty good but you jsut have to hit that shit at wierd times in order not to get the boot.
syracuse is an alright city...3 hours from gore which is awsome and about 4 hours from white face...vermont is just a 5 hour drive and there is always tremblant..New York used to have one of the most amount of ski kills in the states..now its montana or something
the cuse can get up to like 300 inches a year in snow tho
syracuse is home to the most erratic weather changes. we dont just coast gradually into winter, or spring, there is like sharp changes, that could be gone the next week, like, in october, a foot of snow one week, then 70 degree temps the next.
screw you man, im a hic. i live in skaneateles which is about a half hour away from syracuse. labrador mtn is good, so is toggenburg. but like dweezle east said. weather out here is inconsistant and extreme.
as strange as it may seem, despite thteir rich population, there are some normal people. there was an article though, in the paper comparing skanaetle' # of million dollar houses to caz's # of million dollar houses, and it was:
cazenovia: 5
skan: 167
yeah actually dude not that this something to brag about but we're the second poorest town in Onondaga county. Yeah theres millionaries in mansions on the lake, but there is some serious hic town which is outside the village. Andrew lives in hic town
