yeah - they have to winch the train up at places like a roller coaster. Take a camera, that is where the matterhorn is.

yeah I got my summer season pass for Zermatt..

I will be there in July and September, October etc..

I'm skipping August cuz I'm going to Wanaka and Zermatt kinda sucks in August. In August the lower glacier melts so they have to close it for crevasses and whatnot, so then the only exit is through the upper lifts which are VERY sensitive to wind. Meaning: if there's ANY hint of wind at all the whole glacier remains closed for the rest of the day.

But when it's open it's heaven for sure.

It aint too bad in august.. I was there last year ..u r its totally depends on the weather even more then in the other months but oh well..it will be fine :)
