Having a good time with friends. I don't handle the whole pressure thing very well haha. But I do have to say comps. push me farther than I would when I ride with friends because the people at the comps. ride at such a higher level than my friends so it just pushes me.

Comps. The adrenaline and pressure really pushes you to try new and crazier things. I like skiing with friends better though.

friends... yeah sometiems you will try to bust something new out in a comp, but mostly you stick to the shit you know in comps. When your with your firends you have a good time, and push each other, and then all go CRAZY!

Riding with my friends (who are all pretty badass) make me a much better skier. And riding in comps, normally doesn't make me better, unless they are jam format. The contests i was in this year gave me like 2 practice runs (whatever) then like 3 chances, then it's over. A soft day, camera out, sessioning with my friends is where it's at. and JAM SESSION rail jams are amazing. people, music, lights, and eachother = ultimate recipe for progression.
