does it say, eleting old icon? if so, wait 10 seconds and click refresh

speaking of icons im really sick of mine..and i've tried making my own but it's being a bitch. everytime i change it to 50x50 pixels the resolution goes up and then the image file size goes up and aaaaah. i even tried locking the settings so i can change one and not the other but it's not working.

NOOB!
easiest way is to bring it up in photoshop and go image>image size and change it to 50x50. if the picture isnt square crop it to square by using the rectangular marqee and hold shift to crop a part you want. then when you have the image to size go file>save optimized as and in the optimized window it will say the file size at the bottom left corner and if its too big bring down the quality with the settings on the right.
