i don't know how the universities there are. but, i did do a study abroad type thing for two summers there. usu summer design academy in switzerland. one of the best experiances of my life. switzerland is such a cool and organized country. if you are not european the swiss people can come off as cold; but, it is just a cultural thing. they are realy nice and i couldn't wait to get back the second year.

i say go. you can always go back to holland, its your home. but, opportunities like living in switzerland might not always be available. might be better if you had a friend going with you or something, but i say deffinately do it.

Do it.
You will have the time of your life.
First figure out what you want to study.
Then figure out which university is right for you and try to get in.

wait wait wait back up there.
For technical schools (physics, engineering, chemistry) you got ETH Zürich and EPF Lausanne which are both world class schools.
Lausanne has the best hotel school in the world.
Medicine would be in Geneva but you can also study it at Universität Zürich, in Lausanne and in Bern I guess, among with all other typical univerisity studies... economy, biology, ecology, geology, etc... etc...
And seriously, one of the best medical schools in the world is in Davos at the feet of the slopes. I think you can only specialize there... but it's a nice outlook.
In Lausanne they will teach in French and not a word of English. In Zürich they teach in German and some courses are in English but you'll pick up German in no time. Don't worry about that, you just take an intensive course before you start.

I hope so!! Im getting excited. My mum is scared coz there is the highest aids and drugs number haha. But if they will teach a lot in english would be fine!!! But how are the swiss people coz I heard that they;re pretty different than the dutch... kinda boring. Please dont take it as an offence I just heard it and I know nothin about it. As far as I know swiss people they're nice.

i went on a ski vacation to switzerland, i did not really meet many people, but the ones i did meet were really nice.
when u first get there u feel like a complete outsider but u just have to adjust. it's more quiet.

I did too but the people I met were mostly really mean. They wouldn't serve us at restaurants or made fun of us in german. The skiing was nuts though.
