ive been learing tricks but while learing ive been streesing them out does any one have any thips on how u learned tricks and wat to focused on, should u just go for it.how do u think all the pro;s got that good and learned wat to do on rails on jumps
well, first off, you gotta start small and work your way up. some people like to just try shit right away and they get hurt (i did that and it hurts a lot, broken ribs suck). if you're confident that you've got it down, then go for it. just don't back off when you finally do. you gotta commit. try jumping on a tramp or doing water ramps and shit. but the best thing by far is to work your way up, all good skiers do.
well on my local mountain before i go i ask my buddies that always give me a hard time becuse im smaller and younger.. i ask wat to do and how to do it and they get mad.but im learing 7 grabs on my own but do u think i would be bettre if i had some advice.. also i commit
well man, don't worry about your friends. everyone has to start somewhere. my advice is perfect the grabs doing 3s or just straight air it and then move up. just do what you've been doing on your own and don't listen to them, and then when you've got it down shove it in their faces. just take it slow and work your way up so you don't get hurt.
thanks ya wat was funny was that there all 15 and im 12 and there was a slopstyle competion and i went to blue mountain for a few days on my own to learn stuuf by myslef and then i showed up at the competion and they were like dont worry its just for fun and then i showed them up and cam in 2nd and now they give me a harder time cause there jelous cause that was my first year skking but i learned all this by my good friend
that's sick man, keep it up bro. you're gonna be amazing if you're doing 7s at 12. don't worry about your friends man, they're just jealous. keep up the good work man.
i can do 7's with grabs and i can do 900's with no grab and i love rails and corks are weird but cool and what else should i be able to do for my first year cause i think i can do alot better
dude, that's pleanty for your first year. but keep at it, you'll get better with time. you should enter more comps and get noticed, there aren't many 12-year-old jibbers out there that can do that kinda stuff. sick man.
dont put too much pressure on yourself, just let it come naturally. but do pump yourself up and remember to push yourself every now and then when its appropriate. skiing with a friend who is good at pumping you up/peer pressuring can really help, especially if he's at the same level as you.
some tricks you need to just go for and commit and dont half ass it. my first 3 i did was 45 feetish and that was the best way to do it. other tricks, like switch 5s, i did on a baby 10 foot jump the first time just to get used to the rotation then brought it to big jumps and that worked really well.
and once you decide to do something, COMMIT. dont psych yourself out and just stay calm and confident throughout
