anybody here not go to their senior prom in high school? 3 months ago i broke up with my girlfriend of over a year, i had been planning on going with her. im not one for dancing though, so now i kinda think i should just screw it. but on the other hand i have feeling ill end up regretting it. any stories?

The girl I was supposed to go with, ditched me 2 weeks before prom and went back to her homosexual ex-boyfriend. I wasn't too intent on going, but knew it was something I couldn't miss. I found a replacement date (who ended up being 3 times better looking) and just cruised through the night. It wasn't anything special (afterall, prom is a bit overrated) but I'm glad I was there.

as long as your goin with your good friends itll be fun. either just find a replacement date or dont take one(itll be cheaper). just go to have a good time with your buddies. prom wouldnt have been much fun if it was just me and my gf but having a big group of friends there made it a really good time.

even if it ends up being the shittiest time ever, if you dont go you will always think what if. never give yourself any way to have a regret by not doing something. it is easier to not regret things you have done than things you wish you would have done.

Just find a replacement who you could possibly hook up with. Either way you'll have a good time if you're with good friends and party afterwards, or whatever you kids do now a days.

but im not going to my prom my whole grade fuckin sucks and theres onyl about 10 people who i dont hate in it and their just not my kind of people. if i went to my prom id just sit there the whole time listening to my tunes

well wasnt planning on going because i had track provincials the same day whihc was a 20 hour drive away. But the week before I decided to bitch to my school and they said they would pay for my flight.

Im soooo glad I decided to go, because I fell in my race. I would have been such a bitch on the bus ride home.

I missed my grad ceremony and over half the prom. I had to go without a date because well who wantsto go with a guy that will only be there for the 2nd half of the prom

But honestly dude just go, even if you dont have a date.Just goof around theres lots of girls to dance with that dont have dates. And just have fun with it, prom is overated but you get what you make out of it.

haha yeah, my grad does a dry aftergrad thing so none of us die on grad nite (set up after a whole bunch of people died on grad nites, and it's a small town so it was an even bigger deal), then we all come home and sleep all of canada day, then have an after-aftergrad party, and an after-after-aftergrad party the next night, and then.... yeah i think you get it. eventually the class stops partying and has a day or 2 of recovery, and then we all find jobs lol. should be a good time.

Holy shit, how could you even consider NOT going... mine last year left me with memories never to be forgotten. At prom after parties, think big. Think girl on girl. Think threesomes.

As for the prom itself, after three glasses of wine, you aren't drunk, but you won't mind dancing and you'll have a hell of a lot of fun. Doooo it.

Being a traditionalist, I say do it man. You never know what will happen. Sometimes, the memories you're gonna make will be worth it.
If you're worried about your date, then read my story of when somebody asked me to the prom when i was a junior, its under prom stories.
