Replying to My original and somewhat unusual jib idea

SkiMN:
So despite having all the stuff for a normal set up, I decided to try something new for the spring while there isnt much underbrush to see if it works. I went to a steep hill behind my house. Its about a 50 degree slope. I cut an inrun in with a sopt to put skis on at the top and used the extra dirt to make a jump. Soon I'm gonna move a little rail out there and cover the inrun. For the inrun I plan on using a base of grass clippings just to keep off the dirt and prevent erosion, then I will cover that in straw, followed by pine needles, and then some plastic wildlife fence that will hold the pine needles down and slide fairly well on its own. For the landing I'm just gonna pile a bunch of grass clippings and put straw over that, you wont keep going but it beats dirt and you move a bit once you come off. I'll update this with pics as I get farther along.
