Program to transfer pictures from camera to computer (mac)

something happened when i reinstalled the os on my mac and i dont have iphoto right now (and wont be able to reinstall if for a couple weeks cause i dont have the disc with me). I have a canon powershot digital camera but lost the cd that came with it (had some program called imagebrowser) a long time ago. im just wondering if theres a program i can download to get the pictures from my camera to my computer, i dont want to edit them or anything, i just need to get the pictures onto my computer. if anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it, gratzie
