Right, im sick of beating myself up over this decision. For next season i want a one ski quiver, and i ski everything, park, powder bc booters etc etc. So i want something about 90 underfoot that does it all well and can take thrashing. 185cm+ any ideas?
my '05 line pollard 186...look px12 bindings...rode 3 times this season...bases are un scathed, topsheets have only a couple small knicks...recently tuned (waxed, ground, sharpened...) need to go fast so i'll let them go for cheap...hit me up if interested
nexts years guns are 96 underfoot, but i have them and they are decent in the park for the size of the ski, go with next years foils if you go with salomon, they are 87 underfoot
I skied the foils and guns in powder, did themselves proud, but I'd rate the guns over the foils in that regard, only reason I didn't get the guns was that they'd be useless back here in aus since we rarely get fresh snow let alone powder
the arvs are so soft, there the softest ski ive ever felt as ive said before and i dont think they would be too great for everything, look into the msp
karmas have a bad swing weight and are a little heavy for park. i love them to ski anthing thats not deeper than 8 inches. but after that, they have a tendency to sink in the snow, especially doing larger cliff drops. go with something wider, maybe the mantras, though i haven't skied them
get the 06/07 foil, its almost the same dimensions as this years gun so it should hold its own in pow, and be good in park/pipe. If you go any wider skis are gunna have to much spin weight and suck in park/pipe
