Invisible Children (not what you think)

They played this documentary at my school the other day, and I went to see it. It is really quite moving. I recommend it for everyone. It is about Ugandan kids who are kidnapped and forced to join the rebel army to fight against the Ugandan government. Something really ought to be done about this. Do something good. Keep an eye out for this at your school.

yeah they havent come to my school but i am a part of it, its really a progressive movement. its good for the world

shows that countys such as the US are able and willing to help 3rd world countries such as Uganda

also shows where the youth is going, which is in the right direction

Are those the kids that are abducted to fight in the "Lords Revolutionnary Army"?
there was an article about them in a National Geo not too long ago, it's really messed up. they're abducted, raped, and then forced to fight and rape other children...

Look the problem in Africa is the governments are so proufoundly corrupt that whatever aid you send: money, food, condoms...anything and everything are snatched up by the people in power. The ONLY way to get Africa out of its hole is removal of the governments in power. That means military action. The sad truth is that people arnt willing to do that sort of stuff, look how Iraq turned out with all the negaitive press. In fairness the Iraq conflict deserved it, but the only way to free Africa is through similar means.

My justification for this argument, a good friend who lives in Niger. His family has been in shootings and the like.
