What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you when you were skiing, mine was in park city I threw a 5 off the first big table and when I came around to 3 i was about 20 feet higher then I should have been and I opened up rotated another 100 degrees and I think I overhot the landing by about 20 feet to the flats landing almost sideways and got a wicked concusion.

The scariest thing for me on skis is when I hit a cliff and realize right when I hit it that I misjudged the amount of speed I needed to carry off of it, and either end up not making it to the landing zone or overshoot the landing, hitting the flats.

last weekend at waterville when i over shot the second to last table top by like15 feet. it was the coolest feeling ever untill i looked down and realized i was going to die

oh yeah and coming up to air off of a cornice and watching the whole fucking thing let go on you, and riding it out...its scary becuase these huge blocks of snow are chasing you down the hill, you dont want to fucking get hit by one

...realizing i was on ice at the top of a chute at Alta. Then falling down the chute, then landing in powder after falling off a cliff. It was scariest falling blind and not knowing if it was 5 feet, or 100 feet.

At Mammoth I hit this powder kicker we built, I landed leaning way to far forward, my uperbody stuck in the snow and my lower body kept moving. I had and incredible amount of pain in my back since I had just fractured my spinus process, I was so happy to be able to move though, I was worried that my back was broke

well the scariest thing for me wasnt skiing...you know those drunk nights when you bring home a chick and rail her all night...well with her face getting rammed into the pillow all night, the make up smeared and you wake up and see what you did...then your glad you did her doggy style...

in Mount Saint Anne a two weeks ago I was in the park and i overshot the langing of one shitty small table and it kinda hurt so i didnt have enough speed for the next big table, so i went straight down a the park and skipped a rail to get crazy speed for this hip, and i boosted off itbut didnt go off the top part enough and i went off the side of it, got a lot of air and landed way out in the flats, that hurt like a bitch and i got so scared in the air

Bombing the whole park and hitting the quarter pipe at full speed on a dare. Then when I was halfway through my air realizing I was headed for the deck. I landed on shoulder and neck and couldn't move. Thought I really fucked myself, but somehow I slowly got up and went home with a really sore neck.

aytime, for that split second, when you realize that your gonna deck something, whether it be pipe or jumps, overshoot something and land waaay down and on flats or something, nut o fall on a rail, or when your all off balance and you know you cant recover in time, those are always fairly scary, but its so fast that its not too bad, sometimes, ok then

hitting a table, and when you realize that you overshot it alot, and your body is moving forward, so you know your gonna faceplant, then you look at your foot, and one of your skis popped off when you hit the lip..... then you just throw your poles cause you dont want to land on em, and accept your fate.... that sucks alot

Hiking into a super steep run, not knowing it was icy, then slipping, dropping all my gear, and tumbling down, hoping to god i wasnt about to smack into a boulder. i kicked both my boots in and finally stopped, then my skiis came down and smacked me in the face. when i finally got up i couldnt find anywhere to get my skiis on for about an hour. it sucked. and blew. and gave a hand job. and so on.

Scariest thing for me was when I was 13 on a shitty lift in North Carolina with my friend and kids in front of us were bouncin their chair, and sure enough the damn thing tipped bent and cracked and they fell about 25 feet, then that caused ours to tip completely sideways, my friend fell first, i slid and my poll got caught which let me hang and then drop safeley down. When that thing tipped us though, i thought i was going headfirst, scared the hell out of me.

There was some dude trying something switch at the local comp today. He sketched out on the takeoff and wound up ejecting out of his skis while on the lip and doing a switch backflip over 35-40 ft. That had to be scary.

watched my buddy get flung off an 80 foot cliff after losing an edge in a no fall zone. He bounced off the rocks twice as he fell...then walked off the mountain with nothing more then a broken binding.

i know i've already posted but it can get real scary when i ski. i jumped a 15-20 foot cliff to ice. when i finally got to powder i somersaulted and slid head first toward a tree without my helmet. the one day this year i forgot it. i was just waiting for the impact and for my neck to snap. luckily i ended up about 6 inches to the left of it.

Clearing a table and spending a night in Banff hospital with a concussion and missing St. Pattys day.

Watching my friend hit a jump too fast and hit a tree mid-air breaking his arm.

Watching another friends backpack get caught on the chair and being slammed into a wooden deck with nails sticking out and falling onto an upside down chair. That was more funny than scary though.
