alright i just bid on a 2 month subcription to xbox live on ebay. can i just get that and a ethernet cord, and be able to go on. or do i have to buy that whole starters kit.

im pretty sure you need a credit card anyways, not to pay for it. What the card does is once your 2 month runs out, it keeps giving you LIVE, charges off your credit card. So unless you cancel b4 the 2 months is up, you'll keep getting live. You need a credit card, im 99% sure of it
