I've heard that by the time they get done polishing up the ice they have quite a bit of it collected. Is this enough for an urban setup and what should I do to get ahold of some? Anybody tried this?
yeah its definitely enough. you have to have a truck tho and you have to go back and get more every couple hours. if there's more than one rink in your area that works best
If you dont have a truck, put a tarp over the back/trunk of your car and load it up, then load up bins and put them on the back seats and/or on top of the car...plan to be incapable of going over 50 mph
well i play hockey...and considering that kids get there chins and faces cut open...and use the snow to help the swelling...i dont think that the snow is bad to eat...but consider this, blades that have been who knows where, and sweaty hockey shit has been you know where, do u really want to eat it
and it aignt bad for skates...wont be bad for skis
Ha, i kinda make it a point not to use that snow. i know personally ive bled, vomited, spit, and done many other things to ice from playing hockey... its so dirty and gross
i used to think it was just a little pile, but i was in burlington one night, and we went to find some snow, and there were like 25 6 foot stacks of snow all around
