Replying to hey midwest riders

hey yall since midwest skier.com is still down i thought i'd come on here and let you all know that on sunday march 2nd(tomarrow) Tyrol Basin will be hosting a skier only slopestyle and big air event. the big air should go off as usuall and the slopestyle as well. myself, nate hammersley and a few of the other locals will be helping with course layout so i hope to have a sick course. registration starts at 8:30 or 9:00 and goes till 10:30. i cant remember what it costs but $40 dollars should cover entry to both slopestyle and big air. you will also need to buy a lift ticket(bliff, it's easy to poach though). the slopestyle starts at 11:00 am and big air at 1 pm. 1st place is a 200 dollar dynastar shopping spree, 2nd is a smith package i believe and 3rd is a dakine backpack. not much but something. i know chip, the dynastar rep will be there so he will be watching for good talent. judging should be good. i will be judging along with a couple guys that chip requested. the format will be just like mso3. in the slopestyle course i hope to get 1 12ft rail,a hip,one 35ft table,a 42ft straight rail, a 30ft double kink and another 20-25 ft jump. big air will be 50-60ft with a dope landing and takeoff. sorry for the late notice. if you need directions there is link at Tyrolbasin.com for driving directions. and for those of you who don't know, tyrol is about 20 min west of madison. hope to see you guys there.
