Videogame Question!!

So I own ghost recon but i lost the disc(for mac) the game is still installed on my computer but i cant play because i need the disc. is there any way to override this or is there data on the disc the computer needs?

option a: find a no disk file on the internet for ghost recon

option b: go buy it again, it should be like 10 bucks.
