theres not really a clear cut and defined solution. different things work, but nothing works amazingly if you arent willing to throw down lots of $$$

It's ridiculously expensive because the English company refuses to outsource the manufacturing of the product and only has one US sales rep that has way too many wacky ideas to focus on this "snowflex". Thus the reason for 13 snowflex centers in England and zero in the US.

There was a guy in Denver (Jeremy Slade) that was trying to build a complex. He called the company Artic Summer.

its a circular pattern of very stiff plastic brisstles, when wet they slide good with skis, very much like snow carpet

I wrote a business plan for Snowflex in an Entrepreneurship class in college it would be between 3-5 million to set up a simple site with indoor sprinkler system to keep the snowflex moist. I got a samle and the bristles seamed like they would shred your skin like a cheese grater. I say find a warm weather hobby, but its still interesting.
