dspin is like spins with a backflip. its hard to describe, but a bio is an off axis spin with your head tilted forward(as opposed to cork, with head tilted backward.

underflip you set in down and hard across your body to whichever side you spin, i.e. super corked (inverted) 5, i.e. d5...that is not the way you set in a lincoln, which is more much more sideflippy...

a d spin is a corked 7 with backflip, it said so in powder and if you just google it. a web site also says that an under flip is a 90 than a licoln loop then another 90 as opposed to just a lincoln loop and then a 180.

like cork is feet first, bio is the opposite, head first. that video was a horrible example.
i really think skiing needs to cut this bio/cork nonsense. take a tip from snowboarding, they stopped using those terms a couple of years ago. now if something gets corked/bio'd we just go "wow, sweet 7 man", true story.

no one really knows
a bio gets a lot of points in johnny mosleys mad tricks and you can only do one once you hit the majic white ball.
that's about all we know

d-spins started out as a super corked 3 into an off axis backflip. candide's over chads is the best example of a perfect d-spin i can think of right now.
now they are anything from what i said above to an inverted cork.

Bio: a spin opposite of cork, you lead the spin with your head.
Cork:the opposite of Bio, spin is lead with your feet.
Rodeo: A backflip 540 all in one motion. opposite of a misty.
those are the defenitions i know. dunno how to describe a d spin tho

best explanation i've heard of a d-spin is a 180 to a misty. (i.e., a 1 to a misty 5 is a d7, a 1 to a misty 7 is a d9).
i've never liked the "head leading the spin" explanation for bios. i think it's easier to just think that in a bio you're dropping your outside shoulder, while in a cork you're dropping your inside. they're opposites.
a rodeo is a corked spin, corked to the point of being inverted. it's the opposite of a misty, which is basically and inverted bio.

i prefer the way snowboarders look at it and that's pretty much everything not inverted is just called by the spin and however you throw it is just your style. it's really just a sliding scale neways how corked or flat something is.
rodeos mistys underflips and overflips are all pretty easy to call in my mind. shane mconkey springs to mind for underflips... they aren't too special really just end up looking like inbetween linkoln 180s and floaty rodeos.
i never really understood the d spin, i've seen people call it out before on stuff that looks like a corked 7 the biggest difference i can ever see is that you throw really hard into a corked 7 and bury your head so you slightly over cork. kind of giving the over cork 3 into a back flip look.
