im going to buy something off ebay. i got my mom to get a paypal account so i can bid on something. (im new to buying off ebay), so my paypal account is at 0.00$ and what im getting (or hope to get) is 35$. do i need to transfer money into my paypal account in order to bid? someone told me i dont have to, the buyer gets the money striaght from the card. SO... telll meee please

You don't need to transfer money, it goes straight from the card

that is unless he doesnt have a card, or his parents are those ones that are all uptight about using it on the net... then you would have to do the whole bank account thing. that takes utleast a week to get moneys

yeah man you can use paypal as a bank also. if you have a checking account you can forward money into paypal and use it like that.
or, use your checking/credit card and put that info in. then set that card as your primary source of money and let the bidding begin.
you can enter multiple cards if you like, just set the main one that you want the find coming out of.
Ive read a lil about using paypal as a bank and they give great interest compared to a regular bank like 5/3, US Bank, National City, etc...

Mine is always at $0.00 (unless I just sold something) and I bid away and it works out great, coming straight off the card I have setup.
