wait to spin. if you spin too early you'll hit your tips on the lip. and don't be intimidated. switch 180's are really simple. pop similar to normal jumps also

A cocktail, you asked for a cocktail.

No, I asked you to give me a refreshing drink. I wasn't expecting a
fucking rainforest; you could fall in love with an orang-atang in that.

definitely wait to spin. I've learned the hard way not to spin too early. I've landed a couple of switch 90's on my side. It hurt like hell.

Well the best way to learn to hit things switch is to ski around on groomers and stuff carving switch and going fast, it helps you get used to the feeling of being switch, then you can take it to jumps and it will feel a lot easier and it will kind of come naturally, i did for me anyways.

I agree, Definately the most important part is not spinning to early. The was i learned it was by throwing late spins and shit. It's scary, but it gives you the right feelijg.

somethin that might be good to do besides the advice above.. is to hit it regular and mark a spot so you can drop and not have to speed check. that way you can come back and hit it switch, and not have to worry about speed. casing sucks just as much if you come in switch as it does normally.

just want to add another question.... say if im spinning a switch 3 or trying switch 5, should i stop looking over inside shoulder(spinning left would be left shoulder), and just look and my feet while i wind up, or should i go in looking over wrong shoulder so i can cork my head to spin... or should i just keep looking over shoulder and huck my arms?

yeah, lots of good advice, another thing is to carry more speed than you think you'll need. you feel like you're going faster when you ski switch, so try and carry some speed into the jump....i didnt have enough for a switch 180 the other day and cased myself on the landing, not fun at all. good luck!

for small switch stuff, it kinda helps to pop off of one foor before the other

speed is key because you think your going faster than you are, so make sure you have enough speed. also dont spin to early like many have said above me, it only leads to death. also people dont understand that 0 spins are harder than switch 1s so dont go for a zero your first time hitting a jump switch. and good luck! peace

yeah, staggering your feet helps a lot. Lead with the foot in the way you will spin-push yourleft foot back of your spinning left. bend your knees and throw your spin with your hips
