Wilson Flip Footage?

I know that Mike Wilson threw a double underflip last year at the US Open Big Air, anybody got any footage?

a double underflip doesn't exist in a 1080, it would be a underflip 5 to a misty 5. There is probably a vid in the video section

im pretty sure that a double underflip would exist in a 1080. the wilson flip is a underflip 540 (the smallest underflip rotation) to a switch underflip 540 = 1080 degrees of spin

Dude I have tried double underflips for like 2 years, its not possible, you think about it man. Trust me, look at my profile and you will see what I mean, I have a sequence and you wil see what happens

I think it was in one of the last issues of freeze, they did a section on special awards for the year, and it said that Mike WIlson won the "XBOX Reality" award for throwing a double underflip, and then mike himself dubbed it the "WIlson Flip" check your freezes cuzits there

yeah, if you could do it correctly, you would see it IS possible. In that sequence you are flipping faster than spinning which is of course gonna end up disaster...Double flips are retarded unless you can do them smooth and on HUGE ass jumps like MW...He is about the only one that can pull it off right now.

numer one, I stomped that So there is no disaster, I just landed switch. NUMBER 2 the only way you can do a double underflip is if you odo a 1440. And thirdly, it was smooth thanks. and I would like to think 70 ft is a decently big jump.

Dude, i saw your footy...don't step up. And the sequence...whatever you say, but you look like a football in a duck spiral and stomping switch out of a under to front in pow, yeah right, lets see the video...double under would be just what it says, except the second under you be would facing uphill and flipping forward, so it turns into "technically speaking" a misty...and 540+540 to me has always equaled 1080..the first time MW debuted that shit at the open we was starting 30 ft. above everyone else and sitting on his tails into a huge icy jump at night (70 to the knoll, but he must have been pushing a hungy, easy).... As for Wester, I believe it, he is fuckin sick and def. been pushing the sport from day 1.

And you just said what I was trying to prove the entire time. That its a underflip to misty, not a double underflip. And you saw my footy? you haven't seen shit, you saw what I don't get in the video so I can post it. And I lost a ski but still rolled out, You chould do that trick off a 40 ft jump with a little vert.

Does anyone else think this is under to front...first off, your still spinning when you touch down...it looks like i dunno what to front kinda full thing, like a front with a full 360...dude, save your breath...and do something on a real jump now instead of into pow where there are little consequences if you're so good.

you guys don't even know me...I've lived out west for the previous 5 years, 4 of those which I skied pro and still do...I had to take this season off cuz i blew both knees...I can ski the BC just as good as I can ski the park, trust me........and it doesn't matter, that wasn't my main point anyway..my main point was double flips are usually hucked by most people and you proved my point with that sequence. I don't care if you landed, do that trick on a huge jump with even a little style and ride away, then you get some props from me.

see, that is a WAY better shot than the double...that's all i was saying. I don't doubt that you can ski man, I'm just saying to make doubles look good is very difficult and only a few can pull it off...

at this stage in the game, when doubles are really in their infancy, same with one footers, why the whole "it has to look good to count" spiel? the people hucking the doubles now are the ones that will make them appealing to the eyes in a few years... it needs to look good to get props? whatever you say.

proof is in the fuckin picture pal...you can't even see the landing in that pic... and that was the jump i blew my left knee on the first time, so it was the warren miller shoot in april of 04.

oh yeah, did I mention I lived in steamboat for the past 5 years, and rode for the mountain the past 4? trust me, they've had plenty of 70+ footers, ask anyone who skis there on a reg. basis
