yea i wax my own skis, but twice a year i get it done at a shop (which i do myself any ways) cause the ocatinal base grind is good for it. also seeings how the summer is coming up heres a tip from a shop tech, take a day after you season is donw and melt on a generous portion of wax onto you skis and spread evenly. then reheat the wax about once a hour for like 5-6 hours. then just leave the wax untill you go skiing next winter( by then it will be in the base really well

wax my own. get iron from di or other thrift stores for cheap. just don't tip the iron over on accident and burn the carpet like my bro-in-law did last year.
