that's right folks the huge resort(lol) in central Cal call Sierrra Summit got dumped on..... 32 inches in 2 days. So i guess whoever reads this thread knows where i'm gonna be tomorrow!!!!!!!!
it was 70 inches in 24 hours too, so yea it did happen. this year mammoth got something like 130 inches in 3 days? with over a hundred in 2 days. wow thats rediculopus. the had as much snow in 3-4 days than my mtn had all year
For the uninitiated, the powder at Bridger Bowl just north of Bozeman can get so deep that skiers sometimes use snorkels, more popular with skin divers than skiers, to breathe while they negotiate what Bridger marketers used to call "the cold smoke."
In a post-Christmas storm, Bridger received 71 inches of snow in 24 hours, another foot the next day and another two feet the day after that.
