a stiff ski is better because it gives u more pop! off jumps and helps u stay solid on the landings

are you kidding me?? a soft ski has more flex therefore giving you more pop....try olieing on a soft ski...i guarantee you'll pop wayyyyyy higher than on a stiff ski

I would think for newer skiers softer skis would be best but what do I know. I ride lines which are generally pretty soft but I fucking love them even though I'm not a beginner.
