well i have an 80 gig ext drive that has 20 gigs that arent being used. i'm trying to put a 5 gig vid file on thier but it won't let me, it says it doesnt have enough room??? wtf is the deal.

Your drive might be in Fat32 format so the biggest file you can put on it is 4 gigs no matter how much space you have left on your drive.

yea, right click it and have the filesystem change to NTFS

by reformating the drive, but then you would have to backup your external.
