Rant on Roomie

This kid leads an exciting life, let me tell you. Schedule:
-Wake up, get on computer or go to class.
-Come back from class
-Play World of Warcraft/Sims/Golf game and nets about 13 hours a day doing this
-Sometimes he'll switch shit up and get a couple hours on the ole PS2
-Doesn't go to the cafe, goes to our "totally takeout" and brings food back...which makes the room smell like shit and his eating skills are less than sociable
-Has okay hygiene, minus the fact he doesn't throw most things away and leaves dirty Q-tips everywhere
-I have not talked to him once since the beginning of the semester in Janurary
-When W.O.W gets intense he'll start breathing pretty hard...creeeepy... or for less intense moments he "sighs" every 2 minutes(i looked this up and stanford ties frequent sighing to social anxiety, surprise surprise).


Repeat this list everyday, even on weekends, and thats the life of my roomie.

I feel you...my roommate isn't creepy computer geeky but she is a crazy self-righteous mormon who sleeps, eats, studies, goes to church or hangs with church people, and judges me for my ungodliness.

my roomie is 47, going back to school for his first time since highschool and his three little kids come over all the time. honestly they are worse the dogs, the youngest on shit on the floor and smeared it on the carpet. my apartment reaks like toddler crap. id take your roomie over mine anyday. and the worse thing is his ex wife, or i guess girlfriend always comes over and she is so cracked out. she crawled into bed with me one night and and honestly scared the hell out of me. I havent seen an uglier creature in my life. I actually hit her.

p-jo you just described my roommate. he logs about the same amount on the computer, eats shit food IN the room, and doesnt talk to people. seriously, he has made only one friend that i can count. we talk at least though. you serious when you say you havent talked to him since jan?

Yes, and no.

One time his huge ass box, part of his collection of huge ass boxes, was leaning against my fridge so i couldn't open it. I recommend he moved the box and combined them all to conserve space. He agreed readily.

Otherwise he might tell me i got mail... or ill ask him if i can change the channel. Like today though, not one word muttered from my mouth.

He even walked in on my watching porn like 4 times, but its not awkward because i dont know him.

And for all of you who play WOW, get a life. It is the ultimate nerd game. And no one cares about it, so stop talking about your sweet swords and mining or whatever in the hell you do in that game.

my roomate farts all teh time, and just continues to impress me at how discousting a person can get, and even continues to impress me with how discoustinga person can get. hair is always in teh sink, leaves shit everywhere. did i mention its my sister... yah girls are gross, well when their your sister and you find stuff a normal man should never see.

Lets see, my roomate, JUST this week:

Friday morning, my phone (alarm cause my ringtone is more likely to wake me up) BEEPS ONCE in the middle of the night, wakes my roomie up, so he turns my phone off. I miss a doctors appt that I had been waiting for for 3 months.

Friday during the day (and every other day) Leaves for class when I'm already gone and leaves the door wide open and pot on the ground in our room. (mind you, no drugs at all for me, so I hate the drug thing too).

Saturday night comes in at 230 AM, I'm in bed cause I don't feel well. He's high as shit on something already, snorts some stuff (wakes me up) and until 7AM, spitting all over the room, throwing shit around, crushin/snortin more stuff, and smokes in the dorm hallway/bathroom right outside of our room. He kept me up until 7am and I had to work on Sunday.

He doesn't remember any of this stuff because he's ALWAYS high. So I'm sick of it and I tell him to get all the drugs he has out of the room by the time I wake up. (This is 5:30 sunday morning and he leaves the shit wide open with the drugs just chillin in the room, sometimes hidden, most of the time not) so he goes "dude, chill out, we just have different schedules", which pissed me off big time, and then says " I only have a little pot, Ill get rid of it", so I roll over in bed and I hear a backpack open, a back get thrown in, and then ATLEAST 10 bottles of pills get thrown in too.

well my roomy is an old friend of mine. he's super chill, we never get in fights, have all the same friends, and it just generally kicks ass. i cant imagine living with someone i hated, id definitely snap. good luck with that.

fight him. when he backs away push im into a wall and let him slink to the ground like a little baby. then stand above him and just breath heavy for like 15 seconds, then storm off down the hall. after that for a few days when you see him next. always be sharpening a knife and just stare at him until he looks and you then look away. he will never be in your place.
