nope june 6, apparently a basin got a lot of skier days and mad a lot of money so they think they can close early. rumor is they are gonna build a mid mountain lodge, which is the reason for the early close
its to bad they could stay open till july 4 easy this year. To bad their trying to get all ritzy
whatever man the basin is still kicking too the park is really good right now. i'll tell ya'll the set up. top of the terrain park is a flat down triple bar that is good for learning. after that you have the choice of a 15 foot flat bar with a nice drop to landing or a 36 foot long down flat down box. both are set up with nice wide lips. after that you can either hit a 30 foot flat bar with a nice wide lip or a 30 foot c box that is really wide with a nice lip. after that there is a 12 foot up box and then a 20 foot down box both with nice wide lips. at the bottom there is either a trap rail that you can gap onto and what not or the A box which you can gap onto also. The jumps are also pretty sweeet right now. theres a 20 footer and after that theres probably a 35-40 footer depending on how big you take it. the bigger jump has a nice poppy lip and a good long steep landing. really fun all in all. soooo goto echo if its closer and more convient. dont write off the basin because their park is really fun and good this year.
benditto if you work there you should be out there every morning raking or grooming that shit for us... :D - so what's the deal on the huck, rock, n roll? will i still be able to hit the park?
