it seems to me that pro girls never shred as hard as pro guys. i think its because guys are naturally abit more danger loving and their fore push themselves that much harder and are willing to try crazier shit.... any other opinions
and im not knocking girls casue i think its great they are doin it

guys naturally have more developed dexterity and are gentetically built to be more athletic that girls... girls still shred though, we still hold our own. Look at women's snowboarding- give us a few more years, and we'll prove we can shred everything to death as well, it's already started with some of the sick sick girls coming up right now...

girls is progressing with girls like grete and events like the queen cup but watch some of the guys like candide, pep, colby, the dadalis anyone and events like jon olson invitational and candides and its pretty apparent

ya almost all girls at bachelor snowboard. except this girl i think her name is jill sweeney, shes really good, but when i see her cruising park she usually doesnt hit the jumps and just does soome rails.. she's sick though.

I used to ski with a girl who could throw d-spin 7's into moguls, now she's training to be in the olympics. Don't make the generalization that girls can't rip as much as the guys, a lot of them are amazing skiers.

Amount of girls that ski and are pro.
Just becuase there are less girls skiing, doesn't mean that they aren't as good as guys.

yea yea it does. if girls as a sex were as good as guys there would be just as many in the sport and the sport would be equal... but lets take ratios out of it completley and do 1 vs 1. the best male vs the best female, vanular vs grete or tanner vs sarah burke... there isnt even a competiton, not even when tanner was 16 back in the 1990's at X games with cab rodeo 7 tails, he still beats any girl today... now, girls are getting there... they have come along way, i saw kaya absolutley slaughter every girl and most of the guys at the VT Open, and i am pretty sure sasha is on the ygo masters team and if anybody witnessed her raping the dfd at seymour, you will know why, and why the ygo team is gonna win! haha

skiing is a physical sport
males are the strongest of the 2 sexes, no matter how gangsta a chick might think she is.
therefore, males will always beat females in any sport requiring strength.

yes! Take golf for example, any guy pro will hit the ball longer that the female pros, but that doesn't mean that girls suck at it.
I try to throw down everytime I'm skiing, but yeah, I'm not even near the level of stomping shit that my buddies are at. I can't do 900 and stuff just like that, but I think the main reason is that my body just isn't strong enough yet. But I'm working on it. And it's definitely not that I'm scared of getting hurt or anything, I have to break something before I give up on trying something. So I believe it's all mostly about physics. But girls will get there, just give us time.

There aren't as many girl skiers around who will really rip and push it.
One of the only ways there will be more is if we ski with the guys and try to keep up .. rapid improvement that way.
There is also the fact that girls are built differently and aren't as strong (yes even I'll admit that) so as in any sport the guys are a bit ahead.
At least we are allowed to do sport now.

i think while guys will be trying to throw larger spins like 1440 and 1620 girls will be rippin the most tweaked out grabs at 720s and 900s, because girls are naturally more flexable, therefore there grabs will be oozing with steeze, opposed to men who are just spinning like a tornado out of control
