I definitely went through that obession, now it is just a cool thing to do. Instead of maps.google.com, also make sure to check out moon.google.com (zoom all the way in) and mars.google.com

i'm sorry... my title was misleading... i find any maps site on the internet to be shitty as all hell.
I was actually refering to google earth, and maps in general (like physical in your hand maps, none of that internet bullshit.
I find the best maps are at the map/globe store on Broadway and Cambie, I've gotten some pretty sweet maps there... I like maps. but seriously, internet map sites suck camel balls (all sweaty and leathery, grose shit man).

I love maps, my room is plastered with maps and ski posters. Actually, ski posters outnumber maps quite a bit, but maps are still in some honored locations on my walls.
