do the threads that get removed get saved somewhere? if so they should compile them all and let us all read them like once every 2 months or something.

are you saying that once evry two months they should open old threads. What would be the pint in that, they might as well just always have them on. And i dont think that there is enough memory or something to store that many threads. If you were looking for a specific thread you could probably pm someone, and he could send it to you
