What's the function of a 1 piece in the park?

honestly, im talkin about FUNCTION. in pow, one pieces keep the snow from gettin inside, but then again so do powder skirts. if u say they're more comfortable, ur wrong cause one pieces dont provide that much ventilation, and if you say otherwise than ur not sweatin and workin too hard while skiin. sure they may look sorta cool, but when did skiing become a fashion contest?

haha if you wanted to stand out/look tight why not wear some girls jeans. i know you meant different meaning of "tight" im f'in around. plus they'd cost you 1/10th as much as a one piece. also, if ur good enough you dont need a one piece to stand out, plus if ur anywhere besides the park, you'd look like a fool.

I dont really think one pieces are even that great looking. Same with the a million xl pants that people buy. And it takes away so much speed if you are having trouble clearing a jump because of the speed issue. Im not telling people to where racing suits or anything. I just get well fitting stuff, not super baggy, but not super tight.

whats the point of going in the park? to look sick while doing all ur tricks, and of course for fun, but the steezyer it looks the funner it is, right? and one peices look pretty sick, even tho i probly wouldnt get one

^^^ agree if your sick at tricks and you have on style people are gunno look down on you but if you can do a 3 with the sickest stlye then thats what counts its all about style and thorwin down and so it is a style issue and one peices are the shit even thought i wont get one

who has more style: some kid w/ a one piece who does a jerky 5 and can hardly grab his skis, or a kid who boosts a 5, does a high mute and holds it for the entire rotation, and is wearing jeans?

i disagree, the only reason i go in the park is to learn new tricks that i can take to the mountain. also, how the f does wearing steezier clothing make it more fun, thats quite superficial.

the point is that people that live in ontairo dont realy have any "moutain" to ski we have a hill and the "back contry" is a road at our bigest hill and ther rest it is jsut a 100 foot long steep hill

well obviously skill is the best steeze of all, and u dont need cool clothing if ur just learning tricks for fun, but do u see any pros that dont care about what they are wearing? no. and just being steezy in general is more fun

when i fall in the oark and my powder skirt is done u, i still get snow up my back and down my pants, and that made made stuff kills, i would like a 1 piece so that when i fall i woud get cut by snow. but yes, they should have some good vents on them becase im sure they would get hot.

do you see any pros that are paying for their own clothing?no.if ur gettin it for free wear whatever the hell you want. i agree, if your superficial then being steezy in general is more fun.
pros that dont care what they're wearing: pretty much all big mountain skiers that dont have a jibbing background

one pieces are sick, specially if they are neon and old 80's style. and baggy clothes are dope too...I own a black and bright pink neon one piece from the 80's and wear baggy as fuck shit on the mountain...tight clothes are for gapers and old people. besides I just feel naked if my boots aren't covered, bitches

they keep you warmer...just because there isnt pwder doesnt mean that it doesnt get cold. and maybe the people with the one piece in the park dont ALWAYS ski in the parks, but they dont have a whole bunch of outerwear.

i sag my ski pants because thats how i wear my jeans, Im 23 years old an own a shoestore in burlington. So if you think im a little high school wanna be gangster your wrong. The sag is very comfortable for me except for snow going up my back. I usually where a one piece long underwear you know the old red ones. But i think a one piece suit would do the same as the long underwear. The function of a one piece is to keep the snow from going up your back

you obviously need one in the park, i always skid out some badly landed tricks on my back or side, and my jacket gets pushed up and my beautiful skin exposed to the snow. with a one piece, there is no SNOW BURN, like the wise man above said.

NO SHIT! when the pow is deep it gets everywhere. no snow down the pants is always a plus.

yo, im not sayin one pieces are totally useless. i do think some of them look pretty cool, i dont think im good enough to pull one off though. however powder skirts perform the same function, and offer the versatility of ventilation when needed.
dirty, agreed with A frame, gets bombed out hella fast, but is THEE perfect trick cliff. ur comin with that ol' loco style if ur tryin 180's off it, your no joka'! sorry had to shout out to wutang. anyways, i have been lookin to hit it up this year but i havent yet cause my good buds ride brighton mostly, and i dislocated two ribs a little while back so have been takin it easy for a little bit, i'll still hit A frame just wont send any crazy shit.

actually just checked that pic, i havent been back in rocky in prob. 2-3 weeks didnt make it out there that much this year, not as big as i thought at all BUT...it would be sweet to see nonetheless and damn sick, i've only got switch landings down off 15ftcliff/20ftair, so congrats you guys got me on switch landings:-)

chris, not trying to sound like a dick but when i say a sag i mean like when i do moguls they start to fall down after a good 200 yards. My powder skirt doesnt go down that far and i dont think it is very comfortable. It feels tight around my waist
