yes there are many threads on this but heres another. I'm looking for a bag i can use for school and ski in so right now im thinking of the dakine heli II. I cant find any good deals on this bag tho so if anyone knows of anywhere or can hook me up thatd be sick. Any other recommendations or reviews of bags would be pretty sweet too. and whats the bag that pollard has that can carry his prophets in an X instead of diagonal or just on the sides?

i use the pro II for school and skiing. i can carry all my shit in it for an all day boot pack, but the boots won't fit inside. i have to click the boot sinto the skis and then put the skis in the pack. not a big deal.

i got mine for $45 at the helly hansen store in bozeman, mt.

if you are open to suggestions, look at vortex backpacks. they're made in utah and have an unmatched unconditonal warranty. in their own literature they joke and say that if your girlfriend gets pissed and cuts up your bag - they'll fix it for free. they will repair your bag whether its their fault or not. i have two bags from there - a big bag for week trips and smaller for day hikes with skis and crap. they have lots of inovations as well.

yo i have a heli pro which is good for skiing but is prety crammed for skool...so yea the heli II is bigger right? so it should be perfect. btw i love my heli pro
