Question of JP/Juliens and ANT's

So i realized this year i need a stiffer and possible longer ski than my 180 pistols. dont get me wrong, i love em, but they tend to chatter to much in low high speed turns. so i was thinkin bout the JP/Juliens and the ANT's as a couple of choices. and id like to know how they ride. i know the ANT's are very stiff and long, but that might be good for me. and the JP/Juliens..i read all the posts on the search bar, but nothin said anything about chatter. theyre really light...but the chatter. so yea, if anyone rides em or has any helpful suggestions, im all ears. i need stiffer skis and probably longer. if anyone has any sell em to me. by the way im 5'11 and 155lbs and ski very hard and fast.

mm so the juliens are soft eh? any other suggestions. i could go with a 189 vicious or pistol. buut i dunno. ANT's seem a tad big for me.

be careful with the jp vs julien they have a soft core and i've seen a couple ripped out bindings. they had the axial binding(rossi and look pivot bindings) but other then that my friends raved about them. if it were me i would towards head mojo for a stiffer ski

I ride Jps. They are super sick, the softness is made up for in lack of sidecut (if that makes any sense). what nomen said is true. i ski a lot of tight trees and chutes, not a lot of wide open lines. for what i do, they rip, if i was doing more big open faces and long spines, i'd ski the ants. i'm 6' and 175.

The JJ's would be a wicked Tele ski as well as all mountian. They are super light too. They are not as soft as you think and torsionally quite rigid, sure the tip and tail flexes but not the rest of the ski. It can be opened up big time and incredibly versatile.
If you want to point down hill, gain some speed and then point a little more and gain even more speed the Ants feel like you are skiing on train tracks, they hold so dam well although they liked to be skied and no pussy footing around should be done on these puppies.
The JJ's are the way forward. I would suggest you find a demo pair somewhere and ski them for yourself.

You hafta let the Jp ski itself, you can throw it around and whatnot, but you have to find out how it likes to ski. I guess this is true with any ski, but especially with these.

Jps are sick, im getting some this year for basically everyday. but it sounds like you prefer a stiffer stick so try the ANT. Alternatively the gotama could work as its still pretty stiff but comes in shorter lenths and is softer than the ant.
I'd just try some demos

something in between the ant and jps you could look at the gotomas which are light with a medium flex

dude tele skis are designed to be softer because the way you ski or am i mistaken? with every person i've talked to, w/ the more forward stance and they way you use the skis wouldnt you reep benefits from a softer ski?

you are right. to a certain degree. the majority of tele skis are made softer for easier turning. buut i really liek to charge hard and fast, and turning...well i like big turns. so i need a stiff ski. my pistols do just fine in choppy short stuff, i can muscle em around, but they get soft on me when i go fast. G3 makes stiff skis, but im not interested in them really. soo i dunno yet, if i grow anymore over the summer, the ANT's will become more and more of a possibility. the JJ's seem to soft. all id hve is a longer soft ski which i dont want. ill try the gots, lots of tele skiers at my resort tele them. but yea, iv heard alot of JJ reviews, anyone on the ANT? vicious, dont you ride em? anyone?
