I happen to have found out that bordem skateshop in waterdown ont. will be carrying skis next year. It's a small core skateshop thats locally owned and has a great reputation for supporting the area's growning snowboarding and skateboarding scene. It is likely that the shop will be carrying LINE and 4FRNT skis next season from what i have heard. So just in case anyone is looking for a good shop to support with wicked product, bordem is where it's at. In addition to skis the shop will also be carrying the 4FRNT deadbolt bindings and possibly LOOK bindings as well. In case you have any questions the shop's number is 905-689-5007 and the adress, if you want to check it out is 419 dundas st. east. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know and get the word out. Happy skiing

i have been talking to the owner lately, and he said to me to put it out there that if anyone wants to put skis on reserve for the next season and/or bindings and/or boots (theyre getting dalbello boots in) that he would be more than happy to do it for you, and might be willing to work out something pricewise. Ive put my stuff in, and as they are going to be dealing exclusively twins, and may be the only line dealer in the gta, it might be a good idea to get your order in before theyre all gone. If you know what you want he said he can get it for you, and if youre still not sure then take a peak in and check it, he'll show you the goods. Anyways, i think its important for us to support our local shops. Give them a call.

no man, ive ridden next years lines and talked to the reps about them, and the skis for next year are going to be best ever. The skis themselves are some of the best ever, and if you have any worries about the mysterious line "delams" (that don't actually happen), you dont have to because the tips and tails of the skis for next season have been redesigned in shape so that problems like that will be prevented from occuring. Take my advice and step on a pair next year, i promise you that you wont be dissapointed.

haha man, lines dont delam? care to take a peek at mine. not only delamed, but almost anything you can think of going wrong with them went wrong. there is a huge indent, raises a good 5 cm above ski under foot fro mteh side wall crumbeling when i simply jibbed. no spin on, no spin off. Haha im not even going to continue with this dicuss aobut my lines.
Final point is that i promised myself never to ride line again. So im sorry if it upsets you but i hope to never see line skis under my feet again. sorry bra.

Yeah, that's understandable man. Every ski company does have their exceptions and im no one to judge what did or didnt happen to you skis (but that does suck, i've had the same thing happen, just not on lines). If you're looking for new skis next year, look towards 4frnts (i think you hinted towards them on another forum), theyre definitely a very solid ski all around, thats what i rode this year, and they worked out well.

my buddy went down the other day and said their product is starting to come in, so if you live in the area, hit that up, its the place's first year doing skis, and they are very good with their prices, so check it out!

bordem has been a half assed skate shop for like 9 years, why all of a sudden are they trying to sell ski gear, sales down? no one in waterdown skating anymore.

those are yellow line 1260's, thats like a 4 year old ski. Shit has changed since then.
I will hopefully be ridding some Blends and im stoked a hell on em. My old Blue 1260's never had any problems so im going to try line again.
All times are Eastern (-5)
