not really. but it peaked like 5 yrs. ago. this season has been really bad. they just lack good writers now. im afraid the movie will be bad. its a shame, but its the way it is.

i have noticed a change in their shows since family guy took over... they are tying to incorperate the randomness that family guy has, and I think they've done a good job at it while still keeping the same simpsons feel.

family guy will never have the charactor depth that the simpsons has.

and lastly - I won't mind if the Simpsons call it quits after another year... they've had a good run, time to stop (but than again, I thought that like 5 years ago and they kept on given 'er so who knows man).

and just to let everyone know, the simpsons arent funny anymore theyve lost all the wittiness of the first 5 seasons and replaced it with unoriginal unintelligent jokes, the shows have no structure anymore and seem forced.

im calling it, the simpsons movie is gonna suck harder than a crack whore

There are some episodes that arent so great (as with any show), but there have been some excellent ones over the past couple of years. I think people have just turned to the simple comedies.

Family Guy, especially the newer shit, doesn't have the sophistication. Some of it is witty, but it just doesn't have what the simpsons have.

Quite simply, simpsons is great. Perhaps this movie will captsone the run, and that will be that. But usually TV shows turned movies suck

ya i saw the official trialer like a month ago.. i cant wait i have literaly been waiting for this since middle school (when i fist herd about it)... the thing was they were gunna make the movie only if they were gunna cancel the show.

plus the simpsons are always there for you.
I cant stand watching a repeat of family guy.. whenever its a repeat (which is always) im like awww noo then I watch something else or I come log on to ns.
simpsons on the other hand... no matter how many times ive seen the episode I can watch it with ease and enjoy it!

simpsons are cool......but i think they are getting on their last legs. The jokes are just not really funny anymore. Don't get me wrong, i was raised on the simpsons, but when i watch the new episodes i just feel sort of sad for the jokes.
