I haven't watched speed since they cut WRC coverage, that pissed me off. I might check in on the F1 race if I have time though, those are always fun to watch.

yea, I took Button as my A driver for this weekend in my fantasy F1 league and when I watched him take P1 last night in the qualifier I was goin nuts. But I agree, if there is one driver I'd love to see win everything, it is Kimi. Myy favorite new driver though is Nico Rosberg man, he is straight dirty, he tore it up at Bahrain.

As much as I don't like Renault, (I'm a huge McLaren fan) you've got to hand it to Alonso. Re drove an amazing race. All those safety cars destroyed his leads and he still pulled it out. And obviously that front wing problem Raikkonen had made a difference. He was so close at the end. And stupid Montoya for pushing too hard again.
Awesome race though. Very entertaining (haha Jenson, and Fisichella getting berated on tv) and congrats to BMW for a good race, Ralf for a wicked one, and Speed for a point. And beating Coulthard. That was great.

A small part of me wants to say Alonso is an amazing driver... but hes a flamboyant asshole at the same time... i'd say the same thing about montoya if he wasn't on the same team as kimi, who if my math is correct is in second... with half as many points as Alo... there is a certain odor of 2005 ringing in the air but i think iceman can battle back. And watching button blow it was... fucking hilarious. That must of been god's will to blow up an engine within a quarter mile of the finish. Also nice to see a shumacher on the podeum. Not the one expected (more expectation for the retired michael) but a nice surprise. Can mclaren just have one good season before kimi supposedly switches to the prancing pony?

Hopefully we will see McLaren keep the pace they showed at the end of the race. I don't want 2005 all over again.
And it would be nice if the Hondas could actually keep pace in the race. I don't much like Jenson, but I would like to see more than a 2 team battle for wins. If Williams can get more reliable they should be towards the top as well, same story with Ferrari.

^yeah i want mclaren on top and then someone like honda or ferrari second just to piss off alonso. unfortunatly its like three weeks until san marino so i have to deal with renault nineteen points ahead of mclaren and alonso fourteen ahead of kimi (and fisichella)

Kimi raced well, I hated all the safety laps. Massa is the biggest joke man, in all honesty what do you think Ferrari says to him after a weekend like this. I mean he crashed in qualifiers, and then in the race. And I also noticed that the red bull racers are such bruisers, all they do is fuck shit up. They are the scrappiest drivers in the field. klien has made a reputation of hitting people.

well I was born in Germany, and I speak german, I go there every summer, and since it is their equivalent of NFL over there, like everyone watches the races on sunday, I started to dig it, plus I am a god damn car maniac. So yea, I love it.

ha, I figured you guys would hate on Nascar. I dig it all, because as boring as Nascar is to watch, it is all about driver personalities, especially when you get a gem of a nascar weekend where Tony Stewart dives into another drivers car and punches him. Still, F1 is the pinnacle.
