concentration

lately trying grabs with bigger spins i have like a mental dilemma. when i spin faster i need to concentrate on my spining, and concentrate on the grab at the same time, and its usually getting me into trouble. either i get the grab perfect and land flat on my ass, or dont even get close to the grab, and actually land it. how the hell do i concentrate on 2 diff. things?

You shouldn't have to.

Get down your spin better to where you don't have to concentrate on it. Then just add the grab into it.

For now work on the spin and while you are spinning think about what it would take to throw that grab into it.

hmm maybe learning how to tuck up while spinning first? when i learned 7's i didn't even bother learning them penciled..i just learned them tucked it took a lot more effort and time and stuff but i think it was worth it

what kind of grabs are you trying? if you're trying mutes and safety's then i would try a tail grab, they actally help you spin faster at times, you can almost push yourself around...otherwise...just keep hucking.
