anyone been up this week? how is everything? its been like 60-65 consistently in essex this week so im not sure if i should go or not. are there any bare spots yet? also, does anyone know when smuggs is closing?

I've been up there three times this week.. the T-bar wasn't running... they claimed it was "broken" but others suspect there were not enough people there to warrent opening it. It might be running this weekend though. Regardless, the park is still quite sick (if you don't mind hiking...) and there is deffently still snow there.

their website says therye still open with 46 trails and they got 6 inches last night and a few inches yesterday.

in the case of chewie and a lot of other people in the area...why the hell would someone drive 2-3 hours away when they can just drive not even 10 minutes and get the same skiing in? plus at smuggs the pipe walls are up forever leaving plenty of fun shit to do wit hit.

im gonna try to go up tomorrow. so if you see a sort of small kid on mikenicks w/axials practicing boxes or whatnot, thats me. give me a few tips cause im just starting that stuff, but im an all around good skier. i hope i can get up there.
