Well, it goes like this: a few years ago I got hammered and went to the bar. I picked up this hosebeast that wouldnt leave me alone. I banged her in a subway car against the window, so the whole damn city saw it. People called it the 'big bang' And thats how you were born.

No no no, the earth was defenitely created about 4000 years ago. Even though we know for a damn fact that dinosaurs are 65 million years old, and that we evolved from monkeys. Evolution CANT be true

I'M working on a philosophy with I don't know who Hawkin... Scientism and they said it will stop growing in 20 billion of years and then go smaller and smaller :S

Uh just for whoever said the earth is 4000 years old...? wtf. Its like a couple billion years old.(6.5?) Bacteria started in the waters then everything came to life. Makes quite a lot of sense. O well. And the big bang theory occured because ( i think) from another universe or something. Who knows.

for the record i dont think it happened that way...theres just too many assumptions made, and theres so many unanswerable questions like where the material for the big bang came from and what was it, where the energy came from etc...believe me, ive gone over this stuff so often and it didnt satisfy my questions at all

Actually the Big Bang theory dosent refer to the creation of the earth, but to the creation of the universe, which is estimated at like 12-13 billion years ago.
The most accepted theory of the creation of the earth is the neubular(sp?) hypthesis which says that the earth was created from a rotating cloud of dust and gas and formed 4.5 billion years ago
So is the question basicly do you think the universe was created by god or do you believe in a scientific explination?

yeah the earth was created 4-5 billion years ago, and the big bang also suggests that the universe is expanding at a constant rate. It has been proven that the universe is not constant because of something called red shift, which is stars moving away from us, so that we only see the largestt wavelength, of visible light which is red. Thats the skinny of it. Red shift doesnt prove or disprove the big bang theory, its just circumstantial evidence.
