Mono's not that bad. I had it the summer after my senior year of high school. I slept a lot but it didn't affect anything else I did. I was better in like a month.

I caught it in may last year. marks dropped about 15% because I missed 2 months of school - I had nice teachers. Twas gone by late June. You will survive :), unless you are me.

I'm not sure if it ever went away, because in September the same symptoms came back, and are still here. Dizzy, tired, gone stupid. Lost half of the school year, and now I'm struggling with 2 courses for the next half. But I can still ski the green slopes, still do flip about on trampolines, and stare and drool at photos of Whistler and Banff so its not that bad.

Don't kill yourself over it.

hehe... i had it in fifth grade, but we didnt know it til afterwords (which really sucked) but then i got this reprecussion called bells palsey, where the nerves in the left side of my face didnt work, meaning i smiled with half my mouth, i drooled all over the place without realizing it, i couldnt blink, so i had to wear a patch over my eye... worse of all, i slept with my eye open. a little zombiesque for me :)

yea i had it and it fucking sucked, after a week it was ok tho, i mean my throught was so swollen i had trouble breathing, but yea after that week of hell it was all good, i was obviously tired but it was all ok, just sleep in everyday

yeah i have mono now too...it really bites cos i've been sleeping since like...january. anyway, its called the kissing disease, and i just got back from this ''sleepover'' deal, and my mom asked who i was kissing. lol, no one with mono, mom ;)

can't you get it from like a lot of stuff, like drinking someones drink and shit. maybe if you share a pipe you could get mono. damn i wouldnt want mono cuz then id prolly end up missing alot of school (which isnt bad) but if i had to drop my classes = that is very bad.

thy put me on some codone...last time i was on that shit we had that whole me giving myself an aenoma thing, but no im on steroids...so i have no idea whats going on now...i do weigh 140, down from 158...is that ok? maybe i got it at the zoo.

i have something shitty too. i have been coughing/puking blood for the last 3 days. i went to the doctor yesterday and found out its a lung infection, as well as a stomach virus. i went to sleep at like 3 in the afternoon. now its almost 9 in the morning and i just woke up. being sick is shitty
