killington is sloppy, it's pretty hard to ride and they loose features everyday. but they are preparing for a last stand which should be good but until then the place is a shit hole.
once bear closes, theyll move a smaller park over to the main mountain (superstar area) like they did last year till the end. so there should be at least a few features till at leaset the beginning of may
the big park on bear is still legit rails are lacking on that side but there are still some big hits up with real soft landings the med park on the other side of the moutain has more rails but nothin too exciting. after this weekend im guessin theyll move there park up the mountain
depends on how warm its gonna be, next week its goin back to 40 so they might be able to keep bear open for a couple more weeks, and then move up dependin on the weather
the drop kick murphys are playing spring loaded next weekend. the park above the death ditch is pretty good, but it has been very warm at killy this past week.
I'm headed home that weekend, but will probably only be able to ski Killy on sunday, which means that will most likely be the last day of my season, as wachusett is closing, and is the only place I can ski at when i'm back at school
it was mad slushy when i went a few weeks ago but it was fun just for hiking rails...dont even attempt some of the bigger tables cause you will case the landing..impossible to get speed
ya, it was really heavy stuff too so its not gunna pack down too much so basically we prolly got like 4" inches of cover. We're sposed to get more tonight too.
they set them up again? shweet. And about the size of the jumps im not really sure with this week and now with the snow and stuff but last weekend they were alright sized. 1st table is like 40' or so, 2nd jump is a step down, like 30' but with about a 10' step down. 3rd jump is a double take off: bigger side=40ish with like 12' step down and small side=20 feet maybe and like 5' step down. Last table is like 50ish feet with a 15'ish foot step down
