if you can handle skiing for real, whiteface won't let you down... best park in NY... thats debateable... whiteface is upping the ante but doesnt have big jumps or jibs

Whiteface. Gore's terrain is weak minus a few nice stashed spots. Gotta look around and get to know it, other wise is comes across as lame-o.

Just kidding, I haven't been to many of them. Windham is right near by to me and its pretty sick. Belleayre's park is gonna be kick ass next year though. Me and another digger are going to Momentum and we're gonna learn how to make things kick ass. Check out the "Belleayre next year" post to see all the shit i'd like to do. Not all of it will happen. I doubt we'll ever get a wallride. The park will be so much better next year though. This season though, windham was great.

-My poorly formed oppinion-
Whiteface is pretty good for up in the Adirondacs but then down to the south theres places like Windham that are easier to get to than going up to Whiteface. Windham has night skiing, thats always a good trait and the park is pretty good, but I will always like Belleayre the most.

Either bobcat or scotch valley, or that place with the 7 trails past hunter

It sure is. And I'm pretty sure it would take more than medication to make it any better. Hmmm... ...more altitude would help, more snow would be good, fewer posers would be a plus, maybe something a little steep...
If that's the best NY has you haven't really been skiing.

did cortina even open up this season.
my biased opinion is windham. we have been getting better and better every year, and with more improvements to the mountian next year will be even better. hunter is ok, but i just don't like the vibe there.

Hmm i would have to go with windham mountain. While most mountains in NY have gone unchanged for a while windham is in the process of some hollywood grade plastic surgery.
- New HS quad (that makes 2)
- New Tripple
-3 New trails
- New Zaugg pipe cutter
- A bigger and better park every year
- More rails, and even an aditional park for beginers.
Now it is no place in VT by any standards but the friendly down to earth atmosphere deff make it the top choice in my book.
(or maybe bc it pays my bills?.... )

more like relocated triple, they just moved the G lift system over to where C lift it. and don't even argue about K lift, cause that doesn't even count. haha.
oh and the only bills it pays are the gas ones, thats about it, but who cares, its a free skipass
